Product

An online assessment and grading tool for teachers. You set up your courses, invite your students, build a question bank, run written assessments and spoken exams, collect assignments, grade it all, and keep the results in a gradebook your students can see too.

Teachers, tutors and lecturers who run their own classes: school subjects, university courses, language lessons, exam prep. You get your own account and workspace. You invite your students, and they never pay.

No. You approve each student, one by one or from a spreadsheet, send them an invitation and choose which courses they can open. They only see what you assign to them.

Yes. Upload a PDF, Word, Excel, CSV or text file, or a photo or scan of a worksheet, and we read the questions out of it. You check the draft before anything is saved. Question packages from other learning platforms are not read directly; save them as a document first.

Yes. Questions, answer options and materials can include proper mathematical notation, written the way maths teachers already write it. Fractions, limits, integrals, chemical and physics formulas display properly for you and your students.

Course materials: documents, slides, images, audio and video up to 100 MB per file, and you can block downloads if you want. Assignment files and student submissions: up to 20 MB each. PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files open right on the page, no download needed.

Assessments

Multiple choice (with shuffled options), short answer with a list of accepted answers that grade themselves, and open answers that you grade. For open answers you can ask for an AI-suggested grade with its reasoning.

Duration, start date and deadline, number of attempts, whether students see the correct answers afterwards, option shuffling, and random selection from a question pool so each student gets a different paper. Answers save as students type.

No. Proctoring can make the assessment take over the whole screen, stop students pasting in answers, and note each time they leave the assessment page. It never records what is on their screen.

Multiple-choice questions and short answers with accepted answers, the moment a student submits. Open answers wait for you. Ask for an AI suggestion on any of them, then apply it or change it.

Only when you release them. Release to the whole group or one student at a time. If you change a released grade, release it again and the student sees the update.

Oral exams

You write the questions. Magister reads each one aloud to the student, who gets a moment to think, records an answer and moves on. Later, you play the recordings, read the transcripts and score them. You never have to be in the room.

Thinking time before each answer (10 seconds by default), maximum speaking time (2 minutes by default), and whether students see the question text or only hear it.

The examiner speaks and transcribes in English. Your question text can be in any language, and the question generator drafts in the language of your material or any other language if you ask it so.

Recording works on a desktop or laptop computer with a microphone; that is what keeps it reliable. Students can still check their courses and results on a phone.

As long as the course exists. Recordings and transcripts stay attached to the attempt so you can go back to them, for example when a student asks about a grade.

AI

No. It offers a suggested grade with its reasoning for open answers, and only when you ask. You decide the final grade on every answer.

Drafting questions from your material, loading students on the platform from your spreadsheets, suggesting a grade for an open answer, transcribing spoken answers, and answering questions about how the platform works.

Upload a chapter, worksheet or slides, or type a topic. The assistant drafts multiple-choice, short-answer or open questions. You go through them and keep, edit or discard each one. Nothing gets into your question bank without your say-so.

Pricing

Yes. Every new teacher account starts with a free 30-day trial. No credit card needed.

Both plans are priced per teacher, billed monthly or yearly. The pricing page shows the live prices in your currency; what you see there is what you pay.

No. After the 30-day trial you pick Base or Pro. Students never pay. Plans are per teacher; if you need a licence for a whole school or department, book a call and we will sort it out.

By card or through a popular online wallet. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown when you subscribed, monthly or yearly. Upgrade any time; downgrades, plan switches and cancellations are made from Billing → Manage and take effect at your next renewal, so you keep what you paid for until then. Your courses and student work stay yours.

Yes. Within 14 days of subscribing you can withdraw for any reason, wherever you live, and we refund the payment in full. Write to us and we cancel and refund. One fair-use exception: if at checkout you asked us to start the service immediately and then made heavy use of it before withdrawing (for example a lot of AI generation), we may keep an amount proportional to the days used and refund the rest.

There are no AI usage limits: the features you can use depend only on your plan. Storage for uploads is limited per plan and shown on the pricing page. If a price ever changes, we announce it before the renewal it applies to, so you can cancel first.

Security

Everything is stored and sent in scrambled form that nobody can read without the key. Private files open through links that stop working after a few minutes. And every time anyone asks to see something, we check that it is theirs to see.

No. You see your own courses, question banks and gradebooks and nobody else’s. Students see only the courses you invited them to, and only the work you assigned.

Yes. Backup copies are taken automatically and continuously, so if anything were ever lost it could be restored to the state it was in minutes before. Files are kept in private, locked storage with the same protection.
